Mechanical Design Engineer

Your responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team heavily specialized in Oil Type Distribution Transformers up to 10 MVA 33 KV Class and Dry type Transformers up to 10 MVA 33 kV Class.

  • Responsible for Preparation of Customer documents.

  • Manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials etc.

  • Coordinating his/her design activities within a worldwide factories network.

  • Participation in internal design concept reviews.

  • Design as per Market and Sales Strategy to meet the market needs.

  • Demonstrated team building and networking skills, would be a preference.

  • A team player, open with information and willingly contributes to team discussions with an ability to work without supervision when required.

Your background:

  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 2-7 years’ experience working in Mechanical design for Distribution or Power Transformers manufacturing industry according to international standards like IEC, DIN, IEEE, EN. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.

  • Auto cad, any 3D software – Creo is considered as an advantage.

  • Experience on Microsoft office and tools.

  • Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

  • Additional languages knowledge is considered an advantage.

  • Quick learner with ability to master new areas.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
