Business Mobility Coordinator HVDC - Norway

HVDC is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.

Information about the position

We have a need of a local team manager working together with our global team in Sweden for the execution of specific resource related tasks in various HVDC projects being partly executed in Norway for our global HVDC business. The role varies with different tasks related to resource mobility between our global units and local hosting in Norway.

The position might also include some project management follow up.

Responsibilities

• Local hosting management tasks, including all line management responsibilities for assigned resources (in line with Norwegian legislation)
• Ensuring correct project assignment documents for each resource, in dialogue with legal representatives and third-party consultancy where needed (ex-visa paperwork etc.)
• Managing all cost follow up and invoicing relating to assigned resources
• Follow up on team resources, team management
• Timely communication between business units with planning for upcoming assignments
• Manage any other task relevant to project resource mobility within defined projects
• Being point of contact between global project team and local resource management in Norway, executing necessary tasks
• Ensure Hitachi Energy as a company and our employees stays compliant with country regulations, such as tax and immigration when travelling to our site
• Additionally, ensure our employees are properly equipped to meet both country- and project specific requirements
