Project Lead Engineer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Project Lead Engineer to work in this important field. As so, you will play an important role and lead the technical work towards several of our customers in Norway.

As Project Lead Engineer, you will lead the technical work in accordance with quality, plan and finances against the contract specifications and safety requirements that exist in the supply of power and control systems to our customers in Norway, where we deliver complete solutions to grid companies, industry and the transport sector.

You will lead and coordinate a broadly composed team with participants from all engineering disciplines internally and externally. The role is in the span between sales and projects, and you will have extensive customer contact in both sales and projects. You will also work closely with the project manager.

Products you will work with include everything from auxiliary power supply, transformers, high-voltage installations, and include protection and control systems.

Your formal competence:

  • Relevant experience within electrical field, or experience with power distribution.
  • Engineering competences and, if possible, experience as a technical manager.
  • Develop ideas and work continuously with improvements to our technical solutions.
  • Good understanding of interfaces between different HV devices, protection and control systems, as well as different professional disciplines (as electromechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and commissioning).
  • Fluent communication skills, both oral and written, in at least one of the Scandinavian languages in addition to English is desirable.

Your workplace will be in our new premises at Helsfyr in Oslo, Flesland in Bergen or in Harstad. Please note that the position may involve occasional travel.
