Team Leader Calibration & IT  80 – 100% (f/m/d)

The opportunity  

Join our Team! As the leader of the Calibration & IT team, you will find an exciting challenge in our laboratories. You and your team will provide long-term support for testing operations by ensuring the availability of systems and equipment efficiently and in cooperation with various laboratory departments. You will ensure reliable and standard-compliant laboratory operations by looking after the test equipment and being responsible for calibrating it. Clean and accurate documentation is key, proactive service with internal and external customers and the exact creation of calibration reports are important.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Lead a team of professionals and para-professionals, setting goals and objectives to achieve operational results 

  • Analyse test results and experiments to ensure conformity to physical and/or chemical specifications 

  • Maintain records of analysis and tests 

  • Ensure policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders 

  • Lead the calibration department of the development laboratories in Switzerland 

  • Ensure measuring devices are calibrated according to IEC 127025 standards and regulations 

  • Develop and innovate calibration and measurement procedures for various physical quantities, including current, voltage, power, temperature, pressure, and displacement measurements 

  • Lead the laboratory IT department 

  • Manage staff and operate the internal laboratory network 

  • Maintain measurement computers and operate cloud-based Windows servers

Your Background 

  • Bachelor or master's in engineering  

  • Proven experience in laboratory quality assurance and testing procedures

  • Familiarity with standard and industry-specific specialized laboratory equipment

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Knowledge of IEC 17025 standards and regulations

  • Experience in developing and innovating calibration and measurement procedures

  • Proficiency in IT management and cloud-based server operations
