Software Development Test Engineer

We are looking for a Software Development Test Engineer to join an international development team that takes care of Mechanical Platform applications. We are looking for candidate who will support us with definition of quality assurance strategy, increasing understanding of importance of software verification and validation. The candidate should pose willingness to build strong relationship between business and engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Working in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology,
• Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in desktop applications and systems software,
• Ensures software applications or systems software meets technical and functional requirements,
• Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements,
• Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future modules,
• Ensures policies, practices and procedures are followed in a daily quality assurance activities,
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders such as customers, projects, developers and product owners to understand functionality and suggest required QA activities

Background:

• BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics, or similar area,
• Experience in software quality assurance field,
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills,
• Proficiency with Windows operating system,
• Good technical English,
• Experience from working in different software development processes and familiar with necessary considerations when it comes to creating software with quality,
• Experience from working with test automation is an advantage, we are on a path to become highly automated running automated tests and analyzing the results become important part of QA activities
