Senior Electrical Engineer


General Information:

Electrical Engineering researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Ontime delivery of work and Project assigned with high quality output.
  • Collaboration with cross functional team and our transformer factories across US and Canada for assigned project.
  • Visit Factory based on project requirement.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Collects details of project and make multiple Design trials for standardization.
  • Coaching and training to entry level engineers/Intern

Your Background:

  • BE/B.Tech.  in Electrical engineering.
  • 8-10 Years of Experience in Transformer Industry, preferably in Distribution transformer up to 69kv Class.
  • Thorough Knowledge of Electrical design and Manufacturing process of 3 phase and Single-phase Oil Filled Distribution transformer.
  • Should be Familiar with IEEE/DOE Standard.
  • Should have knowledge of Pad Mounted Transformer, Wound Core transformer, Design optimization techniques, Cost analysis.
  • Should have Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills.
  • Programming Skills (SQL/Power BI) is plus.
  • AutoCAD and Cero are plus.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
