Welding process engineer

The opportunity

For our Business Unit of Transformes (Power Transformers) we are looking for a welding engineer in our Hitachi Energy Galindo Tank plant who will be in charge of managing the welding process, working in the quality team.

How you will make an impact:

  • Adapt and update welding processes according to the requirements for the manufacturing process in the factory and customers.

  • Coordinate the welding process, including the technical support, training and certification to welders.

  • Identification and analysis of improvement opportunities in the welding process.

  • Leadership on the target to achieve the ISO 15085 certification.

  • Review and approval of welding qualifications of the suppliers.

  • Internal and suppliers audits.

Your background:

  • Welding engineer degree (IWE).

  • 3 years of experience in similar role.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English. German will be considered as a high plus
