Rail-wagon substations

Where railways are the preferred means of transport, substations can be installed on rail-wagons to provide power supply to railway or industrial sites.

Configurations are customized, spanning from a line bay to a complete H substation, and they comply with local grid codes and standards. The scope of supply covers the complete assembly which may include: 

• Power transformers
• AIS, GIS or hybrid switchgear
• Protection and control equipment
• Auxiliary systems including batteries and battery chargers, fire detection systems, heating, air conditioning, etc.
