You as a Project Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for the expert and on-time execution of orders regarding new assembly, malfunctions, preventive maintenance, and commissioning and contributing to the successful completion of the projects by meeting the scheduling, cost, and material objectives. At the same time, quality assurance measures, safety and accident prevention regulations, environmental instructions and personnel management guidelines must be considered.

Your responsibilities          

  • Managing the assembly personnel assigned for the duration of the project according to the Hitachi Energy management principles.
  • Holding and documenting project-related appraisal interviews (goals, qualification, and feedback).
  • Developing own initiative in respect to personal further educational activities and needing in this connection is to be discussed with the superior.
  • Assisting in creating specialist documents such as testing reports, checking lists, assembly, and commissioning instructions in the business or sub-unit.
  • Ensuring and evaluating the empirical values from assembly and maintaining of good contact with the partners in the business unit to exchange information.
  • Advising customers regarding possible prophylactic measures for avoiding disturbances in installations and attachment components.
  • Continuous information to the superior on the requirements profile of the assembly personnel and the personnel requirements.
  • Extension of technical and general knowledge and keeping complete and clear documentation of the current projects.
  • Advising partners in assembly-related matters and the job holder is responsible for the quality of his or her work and monitors the observance of the QA requirements and advocates for the continuous improvement of the processes.

Your background            

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with High Voltage, GIS, and previous experience in SF6 GAS – Handling is required.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
