The TRO670’s edge compute capability, security, and resistance make it ideal for utility, manufacturing, oil & gas, mining operations, and smart city ecosystems, that monitor and control field automation endpoints such as intelligent electrical devices, industrial process controllers and SCADA devices. It supports contemporary applications like video surveillance and other streaming applications, while the Ethernet and Serial interfaces support a wide variety of current and legacy protocols.
As intelligent field devices are more and more demanded to operate in harsh conditions and environments, the TRO670 from Hitachi Energy is specifically designed for outdoor applications, resistant to harsh environmental conditions, thanks to IP67 protection technology, high-speed wind and salt fog protection, thus providing operators mission-critical connectivity and greater efficiency by enabling a wider variety of edge applications.
TRO670 takes into consideration the challenges of harsh environmental operating conditions, by providing a fully integrated simple design for an easier mounting, installing and deployment, including a power supply and optional battery pack in the housing.
