Product Engineer – Digital & Training

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and guide customers for digital solutions & Training
  • Provide technical advice to customers
  • Engage other technical specialists to support customer needs as required
  • Develop technical presentations and training.
  • Engage in day-to-day operational activities to ensure effective delivery and implementation of solutions.
  • Support sales teams in opportunity discussions, cost construction, and proposal development.
  • Review and discuss technical drawings to ensure clarity and alignment on project needs.
  • Provide administrative leadership for the Training Center activities, including scheduling, training preparation, marketing collaterals.
  • Oversee the training center business, monitoring KPIs such as orders, nr of training, utilization, customer survey responses.
  • Assist trainers in maintaining the training & certification database.
  • Act as liaison with other departments, divisions, and organizations regarding HV Training Center Americas.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships across various levels.
  • Adapt to a dynamic work environment where daily tasks can vary significantly.
  • Participate in conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote solutions and create a network.
  • Assist the sales team in developing quotes and working on customer solutions.
  • Travel ~20% for client meetings, conferences, and other business activities.

Qualifications:

  • Technical background in digital solutions, not necessarily related to High Voltage Monitoring Solutions.
  • Background in Electrical Substations.
  • Strong relationship skills and the ability to interact with diverse teams.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with a solid understanding of engineering concepts.
  • Ability to create custom engineering solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver both technical and sales content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or similar).
  • Proven experience with High Voltage Substations.
  • Experience with Substation Field Service is also a differentiator.
