Marketing & Sales Manager High Voltage Products Italy (f/m/d)

Seize this exciting opportunity as our Marketing & Sales Manager High Voltage Products Italy within Hitachi Energy. You will lead our High Voltage Products team from in marketing and sales activities, with the goal to develop profitable and sustainable business for the complete product portfolio, from Air/Gas Insulated Switchgear to Power & Industry Components and Service.


You will drive and implement strategies together with the Hub Europe Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure appropriate sales and marketing results for Italy.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Develops business strategies and sales- and marketing plans in partnership with local Marketing and Sales teams

  • Serves as escalation point for questions and issues and collects customer feedback and input

  • Ensures proposals are developed and approved to enable negotiations

  • Full Ownership and P&L responsibility for the High Voltage Italian Team and including orders received forecast and competitive feedback.

  • Ensures that certifications and engineering capability aligns to local market needs

  • Participates in the budgeting process, representing the Global Business Unit in the local market

  • Coordinates product lifecycle marketing initiatives and supports the factory sales and marketing activities in the country

  • Oversees the market intelligence process, ensuring detailed market analyses of market drivers and trends, key competition, and emerging technologies

  • Monthly forecasting accountability and ad-hoc reports to monitor market and progress

  • Customer quality management & resolution support, driving resolution of customer quality issues to fullest satisfaction

  • Active ownership and participation in the Risk Review process

  • Ensures local sales teams are provided with necessary training and receive appropriate accreditation

  • Member of the Front End Sales Hitachi Energy leadership team

Your Background

  • Switchgear background with proven experience working within the low, medium, or preferably high voltage segment

  • Transmission & Distribution Utility customer knowledge and experience preferable

  • A proven sales and customer relationship management track record in a related field

  • People management experience

  • Experience in overseeing quotation preparation to promote optimal outcome

  • Strong stakeholder engagement

  • Fluent Italian and English language skills
