2nd Shift Inventory Supervisor

Your Responsibilities

  • Supervise 2nd shift material handers - focus on kitting production orders and providing material for manufacturing production.
  • Ensure safe work environment for all employees.
  • Monitoring the quality of inbound raw material.
  • Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
  • A Team Leader (M1) supervises para-professional employees.
  • Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team. Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
  • Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
  • This position is for 2nd Shift.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a bonus for this position.

Your Background

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role with direct personnel management, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and inspire others.
  • Proficient in change management and time management, both personally and when coaching others.
  • Strong analytical skills to focus on key aspects of the business and make informed decisions.
  • As a person you are humble with the ability to proactively prioritize, plan, and structure workflows.
  • Good communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies is an advantage.

Primary Job Location

  • This position will oversee all material handlers at the Mt. Pleasant, Pa. facility for DTB on 2nd  Shift. This includes all personnel direct.
