Hitachi Energy thought leadership events with Engineers Australia

February 11 - 20, 2025 | Australia (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth),

Tuesday, 11.02.2025, 08:30 - Thursday, 20.02.2025, 13:30 AEDT
Australia (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth),
Engineers Australia , Offices

Hosted by Engineers Australia, join us as we explore the future of energy and uncover the critical innovations and strategies needed to navigate this transformative landscape.

Today’s grid is changing rapidly. The energy transition is driving unprecedented change to our power systems, with increased adoption of renewable power generation and the electrification of transportation, industry, and buildings sectors, resulting in greater operational complexity. And more recently, the electrical demand of AI is further accelerating this trend.

Tomorrow’s power grid will not be centralised, predictable, and structured. Instead, it will be flexible and scalable with modular sub-systems, complemented with distributed energy sources, microgrids, battery storage, and more.

This shift will dramatically increase the need to optimize energy both locally and system-wide, leading to a complex “system of systems” that must be integrated and managed.

Who should attend

This event is relevant for anyone working in the renewable energy, EPC, electrical utilities, mining, datacentres, transportation or consultancy sector.

You do not need to be an Engineers Australia member to attend. We look forward to connecting at one of Engineer Australia's four seminar events around Australia.

Digitalisation Effectively manage changing grid complexity and simplify the contextualization of the data that will be generated.
Eco-friendly solutions Solutions for reducing environmental impact and increasing energy efficiency, whilst future-proofing technology investments.
Rapid grid connection DC-coupled grid forming power station solution with hybrid utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage systems.
