Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action, and may lead to termination of employment with Hitachi Energy.
Additionally, we expect Hitachi Energy third parties, consultants, contractors, and anyone assigned to provide temporary work or services for Hitachi Energy, to follow the Hitachi Energy Code of Conduct in connection to their work for our company. Failure to do so may result in termination of their relationship with Hitachi Energy.
Supplier Code of Conduct
The Hitachi Energy Supplier Code of Conduct is integrated into our day-to-day operations and is a fundamental part of our supplier qualification, development, and evaluation requirements.
Integrity concerns and violations
The key is to speak up and bring integrity concerns into the open so that problems can be resolved quickly
Employees are not only encouraged but required to report any violations or suspected integrity violations.
Employees may report possible violations anonymously. Employees must be aware, however, that anonymous reports may be more difficult to investigate, especially when the report is not detailed.
Confidentiality will be maintained to the fullest extent possible. Retaliation against any employee who in good faith reports a concern to the company about illegal or unethical conduct will not be tolerated and be subject to disciplinary action. The same applies to any intentional abuse of these reporting processes.
It is a breach of the Hitachi Energy Code of Conduct to fail to report a violation or suspected violation that employees know about or to refuse to cooperate with the investigation of a suspected violation.
