Talent Management Intern

General Information:

Your Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of an HR talent management project during the term.
  • Analyze, create business cases, and recommend next steps for talent management related initiatives including performance management and succession planning. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing processes and procedures based on customer feedback and experience.
  • Present findings to groups of key stakeholders leveraging strong influencing skills and being open to receive feedback.
  • Provide high quality HR support to internal customers (the HR community, business unit leaders and employees) with accurate and timely processing of information.
  • Coordinate various HR programs and perform administrative tasks related to various departments.
  • Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your Background:

  • Student in Human Resources (3rd year).
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and diverse employee groups.
  • Collaborate with a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Strong communication skills in English.  French written and verbal skills will be considered an asset.
  • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple projects with tight deadlines. 
  • Desirable Skills

Le mandat des Ressources Humaines (RH) est d'aider Hitachi Energy à se distinguer en ce qui concerne les employés - de la gestion des talents et des performances aux opportunités de carrière enrichissantes. Tâches

·         Prendre en charge un projet de gestion des talents en RH pendant le mandat.

·         Analyser, créer des analyses de rentabilité et recommander les prochaines étapes pour les initiatives liées à la gestion des talents, notamment la gestion du rendement et la planification de la relève. 

·         Identifier les possibilités d'améliorer et de rationaliser les processus et procédures existants en fonction des commentaires et de l'expérience des clients.

·         Fournir un soutien RH de haute qualité aux clients internes (la communauté RH, les dirigeants des unités commerciales et les employés) en traitant l'information de manière précise et opportune.

·         Coordonner divers programmes RH et effectuer des tâches administratives liées à divers départements.

Exigences

·         Étudiant(e) en ressources humaines (3e année).

·         Très bonne connaissance de l'environnement Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint).

·         Capacité à travailler avec des équipes interfonctionnelles et des groupes d'employés divers.

·         Collaborer avec une attitude orientée vers la recherche de solutions.

·         Solides compétences en communication en anglais.  Des compétences écrites et verbales en français seront considérées comme un atout.

·         Hautement organisé et capable de coordonner plusieurs projets dans des délais serrés. 

Compétences souhaitables

·         Connaissance des méthodologies et pratiques de gestion des talents en RH.
