Senior Service Tender Specialist 100% (f/m/d)

As a Service Senior Tender Specialist, you will be part of our Grid Automation Service Team. We provide Service Solutions for substation automation systems, control and protection, cyber security, communication and telecontrol technology. The team is highly motivated and with strong customer and service-oriented approach. It is our ambition to provide high quality service, delivering solutions aligned with customers' needs. We are looking for you as a new member of our service team!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Draw up competitive tenders for service including retrofit solutions, plant extensions, upgrades, service contracts, site activities and other services in substation automation systems, control and protection, cyber security

  • Review and analyze customer requirements and clarify them integrating into offers and solution concepts in close coordination with the specialist departments

  • Define and support strategic pricing policies, based on value pricing, and manage price realization

  • Take leadership and accountability of the tender preparation until the contract is awarded

  • Preparation of cost calculations integrating supplier quotations based on a suitable product mix and considering technical and commercial aspects

  • Manage the sales support and administrative processes including tender and risk review, strategic definition of the scope of delivery, definition of suitable contractual terms and conditions. Ensure proposals are well documented and submitted in a timely manner, securing technical and commercial support in clarification meetings until contract signature and booking

  • Responsible the preparation of proposals involving internal and external resources, coordinates and allocates resources for proposal preparation

  • Supports growth opportunities with existing and new customers

  • Identify potential vendors for requisite equipment and materials, cross-check offers with specifications, and assist supply management in coordinating requests to sub-suppliers and sub-contractors

Your Background:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, with strong technical background, ideally with emphasis in power engineering

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of substation automation, control and protection, and cyber security

  • Ideally experience in Sales, Tendering and Bid & Proposal in the field of substation automation, control and protection

  • Proven track record from working either with electrical utility, system integrator, or technical consultant in the field of substation automation, control and protection

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and additional languages advantageous

  • Willingness to travel as part of business assignments (up to 30%).

  • Flexibility and interest in working within an international team

  • Proven working experience in customer contact, coordinating multiple tenders and taking responsibility
