Improve power quality of Industry, to reduce losses/ improve reactive power compensation mitigate harmonic distortion etc to provide clean power to customers.

Your Responsibilities:

Design of capacitor unit and capacitor bank.

Calculation of HVDC/series capacitor electrical and mechanical parameters

Preparation of order bound drawings using autocad software .

Design calculation using design software.

Preparing Bill of material and uploading bill of material in SAP

Preparing layout drawings

Release the design data in Digital passport system

Support to offer engineering by providing costing

Support to manufacturing and testing and service for design related queries

Type test co ordination with external laboratory CPRI ERDA or any other approved testing laboratory

Material planning for long lead components

Your Background

Bachelor of Engineer – Electrical. With experience of 8 to 10 years in same or similar product design ex current transformer/ Capacitor voltage transformer/ capacitor bank/ transformer etc.

Candidate should be technically sound as well as interested in product design.

Good knowledge on Autocad software/CREO knowledge will be additional advantage

Interest in mathematical calculations and technical writeups.

Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and word.

Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
