This session will explores the anticipated, widespread electrification of vehicle fleets - from city buses to delivery vans to maintenance vehicles - and how the need to charge all these vehicles will impact power grids. The session will also delve into the results of a series of joint studies conducted by Hitachi Energy and National Grid that explore the implications for power grid operators if owners of fleets in a particular geographic area transitioned their vehicles to EVs.
