Sales Executive

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for performing sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.
  • You will Meet new account sales quotas for products and services by closing recognizable contracts.
  • You will be responsible for developing sales plans, strategies, and final presentations designed to enhance revenue growth and meet customer needs.
  • You will call existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities and solicit orders.
  • You will analyze customers' needs and recommend solution that best meets the customers' requirements.
  • You will work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
  • You will maintain regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • You will be responsible to remain knowledgeable of organization's products/services to facilitate sales efforts.
  • You will compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from newspapers, business directories, Hitachi Energy Enterprise Software ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • You will enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce.com) database and be accountable for proper forecasting in responsible area.
  • You will promptly follow up marketing leads and other customer-based actions.
  • You will plan and execute marketing activity in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business/Economics, and Information Systems degrees preferred.
  • Minimum five years of software sales experience in energy or related industry
  • Native Japanese and business level English language skills
  • Strategic Business Acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, relationship, and organizational skills
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, time-compressed, and dynamic environment.
  • Life learner
  • result-oriented attitude with a strong sense of ownership
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
