Service Technician in Cooling System

In this role you will execute Service work & customer support with high complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with Hitachi standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers in close co-operation with customers and other teams as well as take actions to identify new Service business opportunities.

Your main stakeholders will be global customers, internal organization as technical department and manufacturing department. This position is located in Landskrona, while travelling globally is also required.

Your responsibilities

  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer expectation.
  • Perform Service tasks like inspection, maintenance, commissioning and upgrading of water cooling system equipment on Site.
  • Training and guidance of customer personnel.
  • Cooperating across departments when helping customers with customer support such as trouble shooting and technical questions.
  • Create new ideas and identify solutions.
  • Handle and support warranty cases.
  • Customer support such as quotations, technical support
  • Knowledge in areas as electrical, PLC & automation is beneficial, but not a must
  • In this role travelling to land sites and offshore platforms at sea, will be part of the job. Necessary internal training and courses will be arranged by Hitachi during first months and year.

Your background

  • You are supportive and self-confident and can handle both ups and downs and able to manage any problems that may occur.
  • You want to develop the business through challenge and improve processes and collaboration.
  • You are service-minded, creative, open-minded, and solution-focused.
  • You hold an education in the technical area or have some years of work experience.
  • Knowledge and skills in PLC automation systems is a plus.
  • Experienced in document handling.
  • Experience from Office work as well as Site work.
  • Proficient in English is needed since you will be part of an international setting where you will get to exchange knowledge with people from all over the world. Knowledge in Swedish is a must, spoken and written.
  • Willing to travel up to approximately 60-100 days of your work time and you will always represent Hitachi in the best possible way.
  • Experience from travelling to offshore sites is a plus.
