Sales Internship - Grid Automation

  • We are looking for candidates currently pursuing a degree in Business with an interest in Sales and Marketing or a related field for our upcoming summer internships starting in May of 2025. Your Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect and analyze sales and marketing data.
    • Create detailed reports and dashboards to track performance metrics.
    • Identify trends and insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Campaign Development:
    • Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
    • Translate data insights into actionable marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content and promotional materials.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends.
    • Analyze competitor activities and industry developments.
    • Provide recommendations based on research findings.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Support the sales team in managing customer relationships.
    • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
    • Maintain and update customer databases.

Your Background:

  • Obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Ability to work across cultures.
  • Good conceptual and analytical thinking
  • Effective working within a team.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics).
    • Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to create compelling presentations and reports.
  • Marketing Knowledge:
    • Understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email marketing).
  • Attention to Detail:
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Team Player:
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
