Global Application Specialist - Configurators

The opportunity:

As an Application Specialist, you apply strong application technology knowledge and expertise to any application activity within all IT process domains. You are strongly involved in all operational activities and contribute to various areas, from solution design through testing, deployment, configuration, and development to users' training. 

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Management of vendor cooperation, in particular, coordination of Application Management Services processes
• Identify, propose, advise, and implement existing IT application technology and IT solutions/services, sharing knowledge and –depending on seniority - guiding others on implementation and operation, using an understanding of existing IT application technology and business requirements
• Manage the entire process of building applications, from the design process to creating, testing, and rolling out the application; involved in installing, managing, maintaining, and optimizing IT solutions/services where application knowledge is needed; maintains a change management process to ensure changes to the application are planned, scheduled, and validated
• Ensure the application is current with all security assessments, vulnerability scans, etc.
• Lead the deployment and maintenance of configuration data, including product specifications of complex industrial goods, costing, and pricing, collaborate closely with developers to ensure business satisfaction
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and sales, to maintain consistency and accuracy in product configurations, creation of documentation, and training material
• Continuously monitor and analyze configuration performance, incorporating customer feedback for improvements.
• Responsible for the demand management process for the TR Customer Facing domain. Ensure the final solution meets business objectives and adds to the bottom line
• Gathers and analyzes business requirements in the TR Customer Facing domain
• Proactively collaborates with business partners and seeks new solutions to support the business

Your Background:

• 5-10 years of experience in IT Applications Management and Service Delivery in multinational companies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or business management
• Experience with development platforms like Azure and Salesforce
• Strong experience with the Sales & Marketing and Price Configurators domain
• Experience/knowledge in SAP SD, MM, Pricing
• Understanding of software development lifecycles
• Demonstrated excellence in project management.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Azure DevOps, and Jira is beneficial.
