General Information:
Warehouse Shipping & Receiving includes: Verifying items against the shipment record. Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method. Recording received and shipped items An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency: Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage shipping schedule and prepare for deliveries
  • Prepare warehouse orders, shipping documents and labels
  • Accurately execute transactions in SAP
  • Resolve shipping and warehouse related issues
  • Complete transaction audits as requested
  • Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Your Background:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum of 2 years in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
  • Ability to work safely in all tasks and wear PPE as required
  • Ability to use computer systems (SAP, Office)
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Detail oriented and able to execute job duties with accuracy
  • Ability to work with teams
  • Prior experience in ERP system and in a warehouse environment desirable
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
