Customers across Vietnam came together to share their great experiences with Hitachi Energy’s products on Partner’s Day 2024

On the 28th of March 2024, key customers across three regions in Vietnam joined Hitachi Energy to commemorate Partner’s Day 2024.
This year, the annual event was pivoted on the theme of Latest technologies in energy transition.
“Partner’s Day pays homage to all our partners, whose support has been critical towards covering the geography of Vietnam while ensuring that the end-customers get access to our latest technologies. They support us by marketing our products efficiently and bringing us the appropriate feedback from end-customers,” shared Chandan Singh, Country Managing Director.

In his welcome speech to nearly 100 customers, Mr. Singh shared some important highlights from Hitachi Energy’s journey in 2023 which included an investment in a new transformers factory in Bac Ninh and the expansion of a high voltage products factory in the same area. He also praised the success story of the world’s first 420-kilovolt F6 Free gas circuit-breaker EconiQ™ in the US.
Following the welcome address, Ho Minh Tien, General Director of Toji Group, highlighted the group’s continued participation in Hitachi Energy's Partner Day event. He particularly emphasized the important role of partners in providing optimal solutions to customers which can achieve best results in synergistic projects. He said, “The past two years have been extremely difficult, not only for us but also for all the other companies present here. We’d like to thank Hitachi Energy, specifically their business units and technical departments, for helping us overcome these difficulties and positioning Toji as one of the top 3 major partners for Hitachi Energy in Vietnam.”

Nguyen Van Dan, Electricity Manager of AMATA City, Halong Joint Stock Company commented on choosing to partner with Hitachi Energy on a project which necessitated reliable power supply. He said: "Our transformer station, which includes three 63MVA transformers, was put into operation in 2021. After two years, we appreciate the high reliability rate of Hitachi Energy's products in providing power to customers in the industrial park. Currently, we are building a second 110kV transformer station with a capacity of four 63MVA transformers, and we decided to continue using Hitachi Energy's transformers and switchgear products. In the future, we hope to further our relationship with Hitachi Energy and benefit from their great support in tackling technical challenges and the ease of their equipment operation and maintenance."
With over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, GTEC Electrical Thermal Engineering Joint Stock Company specializes in providing products, services, and solutions for distribution systems up to 35kV and are one of the earliest deployers of RTU - SCADA solutions. Nguyen Thi Ha, Deputy Director of GTEC Hanoi said: "Since we started using Hitachi Energy's RTU530, GTEC has provided and deployed multiple energy projects for utility segments nationwide and was appreciated by both customers and EVN for the quality and reliability of the products. With RTU530, we can compete with other brands in quality,,service and price. We look forward to achieving even more success with Hitachi Energy and the RTU530 in the near future.”
Following the opening ceremony, participants attended four workshops focusing on EconiQ™ products, Power transformers for offshore applications, the new CompactStar™ technologyPower quality solutions andDigital substation and Distribution Automation solutions. All these workshop sessions were hosted by regional specialists and managers.
