Agenda

Session 1
Thursday 7 November
3:30 p.m.
The Impact of AI on Data Center Deployment Speed
The advent of artificial intelligence is revolutionizing data center infrastructure, significantly influencing deployment speed. Key changes include increased rack density, necessitating higher voltage power supplies and larger transformers, with many organizations now constructing their own substations. Additionally, the shift to liquid cooling systems is driven by higher rack densities. To meet the accelerated deployment timelines, collaboration and early standardization in design are crucial, especially for projects with 30-month lead times and components requiring three years to manufacture. Hitachi will also explore projections of expenditure and the critical role of power availability, introducing the “energy hub” concept as a strategic solution.
