Glauco Freitas is the new Country Managing Director of Hitachi Energy in Brazil

Hitachi Energy announces that Glauco Freitas  is the new Country Managing Director of Hitachi Energy in Brazil since February 1, 2024. He replaces José Paiva, who retires on March 31, 2024, after 43 years of service at the company, where he held positions in the areas of Engineering, Services, Sales and Management of different units.

Graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Itajubá (Unifei) and an MBA in Marketing Management at the University of São Paulo (USP), Glauco Freitas has 30 years of experience in Marketing and Sales in the energy sector, including activities in Brazil and the USA. He rejoined Hitachi Energy in 2017 and currently holds the position of Local Sales Manager for Brazil.
