Mission statement:

Deploy and maintain a continuous improvement (CI) culture in their local organization, according to defined strategy by GPG/HBU. Apply L6S and other CI methodologies to improve efficiency, meeting or exceeding customer expectations and sustainable operations. Create transparency by monitoring progress of improvements within their organization. Support the harmonization of best practices to deliver consistent results. Implement CI objectives in alignment with the strategy. Typically driving CI projects and Kaizen events in their organization. All aspects managed in line with Hitachi Energy regulations.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will apply Lean Six Sigma tools such as VSM, SMED, standard work, TPM, OEE, MSA in the production line to eliminate waste and improve plant productivity, follow production process to ensure production complies with ITM Deployment plan and sustain daily Tier accountability meetings & SQDIC boards.

  • You will be responsible for sustain and implement leader standard work for all teams in factory, for 5S and Visual Management of factory.

  • You will support and monitor project implementation (familiar with problem solving methods such as 5-Whys, Fish born, SIPOC…), operation team to do Kaizen: idea collection, implementation, monitoring, and reporting, take lead in related Improvement Projects (DMAIC, PDCA, 8D, A3) to improve productivity and create cost saving.

  • You will support other functions to do improvement projects in Relex, join with Quality team to solve related hot quality issues to support Corrective Action Deployment & Verification, join the factory Gemba walk program assigned by Manager.

  • You will participate in customer audits, ISO audits, and Internal audits, Lean Six Sigma tools training and support to other functions, other jobs assigned by Head of Quality & ITM Manager and comply with company rules including Safety and Integrity.

Your background:

  • You hold university degree (technical background).

  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.

  • Hands-on working experience in similar position in a manufacturing industry environment.

  • Specialized knowledge in transformer manufacturing processes and Lean manufacturing.

  • Lean Six Sigma belt certificate is an advance.

  • Must be Technical oriented & innovative and creative.

  • Good English (reading, writing, speaking, listening) & computer skills, good in time management and organization skills.

  • Good in Communication skills, presentation skills, negotiation Skills.
