Today the Modular Advanced Control for High performance (MACH) control platform is an essential part of solving the World's energy system transition towards sustainable renewable sources in a flexible, secure, and reliable way. The MACH platform is needed to connect offshore wind power, create synthetic inertia, connect energy systems over long distances and create a robust electricity grid prepared for the future. The MACH hardware comprises of numerous circuit boards covering measurement, real-time processing & communication, semiconductor controls and the digital signal interfaces used in our power electronics solutions. For the be-spoke hardware, we also develop software, system solutions, engineering and configuration tools.

The Technology & Solution Development (T&SD) team is a global and highly connected organization that knows true innovation comes through collaboration with diverse collogues. As part of Hitachi Energy Grid Integration business, T&SD MACH is operating in three different locations (Västerås/Ludvika in Sweden, Krakow in Poland, and Chennai in India).
