About the Role:

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join its team. This position will be responsible for compiling budget data and documents, based on estimated revenues and expenses and previous budgets. This position will prepare and process internal and external account invoices.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts
  • Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records
  • Calculate costs of materials, overhead, and other expenses, based on estimates, quotations and price lists
  • Match order forms with invoices, and record the necessary information
  • Reconcile records of invoices and expensed transactions
  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
  • Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
  •  Compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with the maintenance of inventory records
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure invoices are paid correctly and on time

Your Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
