Senior System Engineer

Hitachi Energy is a global company specializing in the delivery of electrification systems. Our customers rely on our knowledges and advices for the electrification of society. We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior System Engineer to work in this important field.

Role and Responsibilities:

As System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in project development and design. Your responsibilities will include developing concepts and finding optimal solutions to our customers' challenges, in collaboration with our electrical equipment factories and partners. You will work at the intersection of sales and project execution, with extensive customer interaction. Additionally, you will work closely with the project manager, and lead project teams when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in concept development and power system analysis for electrification and grid integration projects.
• Relevant experience within electric power engineering or in power distribution within the industrial sector.
• Clear understanding of the needed interfaces and dependencies between electrical, automation and civil scopes in large projects.
• Ability to generate ideas and continuously improve our solutions.
• Proficiency in preparing and presenting decision-making frameworks for systems and components.
• Familiarity with modeling electrical installations and experience in sales is advantageous.
• Fluent communication skills, both oral and written, in at least one of the Scandinavian languages in addition to English, is desirable.
• Previous experience in leading project teams is a plus, but not a requirement.
