Head of Sales Bushings & Tap changers 80 – 100% (f/m/d)

The opportunity 

Are you ready to lead and inspire a dynamic sales team? We are looking for a Head of Sales for Bushings & Tap Changers who will manage, coach, and drive our sales professionals to success. In this role, you will assess customer needs, develop and deliver marketing strategies, and ensure sales targets are met through effective business initiatives. You will foster a collaborative environment with both internal and external stakeholders, living our core values of safety and integrity.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer behavior and competitor dynamics.

  • Manage, inspire and coach a team of territory sales managers cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with the Swedish sales team and factory

  • Set and manage sales targets, implementing improvement plans as needed to drive team performance and achieve results

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing insightful reports for senior management highlighting achievements and market trends

  • Identify growth opportunities within existing and potential customers, effectively allocating resources and managing requests for quotations

  • Oversee the sales process and support training initiatives to enhance team capabilities, ensuring smooth transitions of contracts to order handling team

Your background 

  • Proven experience in sales and sales management in the energy industry and a proven ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends

  • Established proficiency in leading teams and managing projects

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required for working in a global environment, German is beneficial

  • Self-motivated and reliable team player with an independent and result-oriented working style

  • Strong communicative and collaborative skills

  • Ability to support, coach, and motivate teams, with the drive and energy needed to achieve results

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, along with commercial experience
