Dr. Kurt Schipman holds a Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from Staffordshire University (UK) with research focused on the application of active filters in High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems.

He has more than 23 years of experience in the industry, in which he has held several positions in research and development, marketing, and sales of power quality products and solutions. His interest areas include power quality in utility, commercial, and industrial networks, also linked to integration of renewables and energy storage.
