Application of Generator circuit-breakers in emerging technologies to support renewables

​Farzad Fahim received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), Electronics from Technological University Dublin.

​He has been working with Hitachi Energy for over 10 years and he has held several sales and marketing positions in various countries and regions for the Power Grid division.

​He is currently working as the Sales and Marketing for Generator Circuit-breakers based in Switzerland covering South America and the Middle East market.

Priyanka Gugale received her M.SC. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2013.

Since April 2019, she has been working with Hitachi Energy in Zurich, Switzerland as an Application Engineer for the generator circuit-breaker team.

She is also responsible for the management of HECPS product portfolio with a focus on new opportunities brought by renewables.
