Job Description

  • Supplier Quality Management tasks for series purchased components
  • Guiding supplier task forces and escalation management
  • Material inspection and testing strategy planning with FQM
  • Planning Risk Oriented Incoming Inspection (includes both FAI (first article inspection) and FAT (final assembly test)
  • Monitor and consolidate the supplier quality KPI’s, the critical non-conformities escalated from the factories. Identify the top concern suppliers within the region or specific category. Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluations (SPE) for the identified suppliers.
  • Measuring comparison and counter measurement within the scope of initial sampling
  • Fast and efficient problem solving in management of complaint process (8D to Suppliers)
  • Non-conformity resolution management (NCR) documentation and resolving
  • Process audits (linked to NCR) planning and execution
  • Input for supplier claim management process (cost details) to Factory SCM
  • Production part approval process (PPAP) on material from existing supplier)

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering or comparable degree
  • Experience in production processes or quality activities in the field of Metal Fabrication, such as welding, painting, plating (as well as other experience in similar industries)
  • 4 years + working experience in Supplier Quality Management
  • Experienced in quality and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. 8D, DMAIC, 5Why, A3, Poka-Yoke) and have practical hands-on technical problem-solving experience.
  •  Familiarity with ISO-9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and external auditor certification is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
  • Assertiveness & ability to negotiate & convince on management level
  • Structured, systematic way of working and good at collaboration
  • Fluent in Turkish and English
  • Good MS Office and SAP knowledge of advantage
