Honoring employees with long term of service

On July 25th 2023, 25 employees across the country have received recognition certificates from Country Managing Director, Country HR Manager and Factory Directors. This ceremony was one of the activities in Hitachi Energy Vietnam’s bi-annual Long Service Awards, a long-term program acknowledging the amazing milestones of employees. This is also a part of our Diversity 360 program, which is our promise to deliver brilliant employee experience as a new, combined company, where our extraordinary talents are given the right environment and are empowered to thrive.

In the quick interview with some of these employees, the working environment of Hitachi Energy was highly praised. According to Hai Vu Doan – Business Finance Controller, “the culture and the values, health, safety and integrity are amongst the things that I really treasure. And the people in the company speak and live with integrity and the company care about safety and well being of every employee and all the stakeholders”.

Not only a working environment where people grow professionally, it is also a place where employees “treat each other like friends and family”. Four out of eight interviewees said colleagues were the thing they love at Hitachi Energy. Lan Nguyen Thi Ngoc - Packing Engineer showed her emotions when talking about her beloved co-workers: “They have stood by me in both hard time and good time, sharing the joys and sorrows”. Lan is approaching her 30th year working with the company.

As one of the employees staying with High Voltage Product Factory from the first days, Ha Nguyen Viet - Product Development Manager reminded us of the beginning of the factory: “It was just a grass field with no building, no factory. We worked together with engineers and experts from Sweden to build the factory, transfer the product, and now we have a very nice factory here”.

This ceremony is one of Hitachi Energy Vietnam’s talent retention programs. Not only reminding employees of their milestone at the company, but the award session also expresses the company’s appreciation to the trust, commitment and contribution of employees.
