We are looking for an R&D test engineer for film capacitors, which are a key development area for PGHV. We are eager to expand jumet research and development capabilities for film capacitors and metallized film.

Your responsibilities

  • You will work on the next generation of capacitors, with a focus on testing and design improvements.

  • You will create safe experimental setups, run tests, and analyze results, possibly with physical modeling.

  • You will collaborate with a global R&D team to promote knowledge sharing and timely, high quality deliverables.

  • Assist project teams with installation and execution of tests, measurements, and characterizations.

  • Plan laboratory activities efficiently to meet team and project goals, following company guidelines.

  • Proficient in testing power electronics, film capacitors, and metallized films using appropriate equipment and procedures.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment and installations in proper order status to alert deviations and lead the implementation of a safety culture.

  • Generate new ideas and proposals for R&D projects.

Your background

  • You hold degree in dielectrics, or bachelor of science or master of science in electrical,electronics,electrotechnical engineering or a relevant field equivalent in electrical testing.

  • You have minimum 3 years of experience in high voltage electrical testing.

  • You have prior experience with film metallization or film capacitors.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills, experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing experiments.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop project management and planning skills.

  • Proficient in written and spoken english and french could be an advantage.
