General Information:

Accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization including: Indirect Operations (e.g., Office Supplies, Computers, Travel, Maintenance, Machine Parts, etc.). Direct Operations (e.g., Raw Materials and Services for Manufacturing, Production or Construction; Products for Retail, etc.) Procurement processes include: Product/Service Sourcing. Supplier Selection. Pricing/Terms Negotiation. Order Processing. Contract Administration. Supplier Performance Management. May include Strategic Sourcing An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analytics
  • Prepare, consolidate, and analyze month end SCM KPIs reports.
  • Working closely with senior management to define new analysis/reporting initiatives.
  • Work with SCM teams to gather and analyze requirements, coming up with effective solutions based on available options.
  • Manage SCMIS data for the BU – data integrity, master data management, new development requests, interface with Hitachi Energy SCM Performance Manager to implement business requirement.
  • Dashboards
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports through Power BI and other BI tools.
  • Develop and maintain processes of automated data and using various business intelligence reporting tools to create dashboards.
  • Reporting
  • Produce, implement, and improve reporting templates. Train HV SCM Community in templates and data collecting tools.
  • Reporting of Monthly, Quarterly & Annual reports & analysis
  • Designing, developing & building visual analytical models to identify trends
  • Developing and running required system reports, analyze and compile data, and report progress and per-formance of systems and tracked business activities.
  • Drive within the BU fresh initiatives for SCM reporting improvement (automate processes, reduce pro-cessing time, etc.), aligned with Hitachi Energy SCM Performance Management team.
  • Monitoring
  • Acting as a functional analyst to monitor metrics results.
  • Monitoring, analyzing & reporting on performance against targets to senior management.
  • Regular collaboration and close coordination with Hitachi Energy SCM Performance Management team.
  • Support
  • Provide coaching and training support for SCM teams for faster adoption of Power BI reports.
  • Providing Ad hoc analysis/report to support the business

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering / Science (Electrical/Mechanical)       
  • Proficient in Advanced MS Excel, charts or Excel dashboards.    
  • Proficient knowledge of the Power BI platform (Knowledge of building dashboard) and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience in data visualization concepts, such as designing dashboards.
  • Ability to independently extract & model data from various data sources.
  • Proven expertise in handling live connections of data with different systems.
  • Should have advanced knowledge on SharePoint (build-up, implement and sustain).
  • Continues improvement mind-set.
  • Self-motivated, willingness to take up and lead new challenges, excellent English verbal and written communication skill
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
