Hitachi Energy hits milestones at ADIPEC 2023

Hitachi Energy recently participated at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2023, the world’s largest energy exhibition and conference, from Oct. 2 - 5. This year, ADIPEC introduced its first Decarbonization zone. Hitachi Energy’s presence at the Decarbonization zone mirrored its commitment to advancing a sustainable energy future for all. The global technology leader presented various sessions at their booth, turning it into a platform for industry experts, partners, and customers to engage in discussions and share insights.

On Oct. 2, Hitachi Energy explored "Advancing a Sustainable Energy Future for All: Decarbonization through Electrification," delving into its EconiQ TM, CompactCool/CompactStar, and Grid-eXpand™ portfolios. Dania Al-Dali moderated; speakers included Saeed Kianfar, Mohamed El Fayoumy, and Saravanan Murugappan.

"Service, Electrical Infrastructure & Hydrogen Solutions for the Industry" on Oct. 3 featured EnCompass Agreements, hydrogen solutions, and life extension of aging assets. This session was moderated by Julia Sadykova, with speakers Edouard Motte and Herb Rogers.

Dylan Behrmann and Anshuman Sharma discussed on Oct. 4 "The Role of Innovation and Digitalization in the Collective Drive towards Net Zero," with a focus on asset performance management, TXpertTM Digital substation, and the digitalization of transformers in the oil and gas sector. Agrata Sujith served as the moderator.

Hitachi Energy also conducted its first-ever Diversity 360 session moderated by Munther AlDeeb, highlighting the pivotal role diversity, equity, and inclusion play in the organization's success. Young female leaders, Maitha Al Hosani, Project Engineer at ADNOC OFFSHORE; Budour Yusuf Al Bhooshi, SCADA Software Engineer at EWEC, and Agrata Sujith, Legal and Integrity Specialist, discussed how diversity can drive innovation.

Dr. Linda A., Hitachi Energy Reliability Director/Senior Discipline Advisor, participated in the technical conference session organized by ADIPEC. She contributed her expertise and insights, strengthening the company’s presence at ADIPEC 2023.
