Maintenance release of Relion® 670 series version 2.2 (2.2.5.1)

A new revision of Relion 670 series version 2.2 has been released. The designation of this update is revision 2.2.5.1 [applies only to REB670 2.2.5].

Recommendation to update

Our records show that a few REB670 revision 2.2.5.0 were delivered from our factory in Sweden and these will require a complete upgrade procedure. Our factory support team will get in touch with contact persons of these affected REB670 revision 2.2.5.0 for further action. 

As this is not a standard firmware update maintenance release for the delivered/installed base, the FST firmware update package will not be required and therefore not available. 

IED Connect support

Updating to the new firmware does not require any changes in the installed IED Connectivity Packages for Relion 670 series. The connectivity packages are available in PCM600 Update Manager.

Ordering and delivery

New orders placed on REB670 version 2.2 will be delivered with the latest revision 2.2.5.1.

If an earlier version/revision is required, a request shall be made to SA-T sales and an approved deviation shall be in place.

All new and existing orders that have been locked to 2.2.5 with approved deviations will be delivered with the latest revision 2.2.5.1 for REB670 and 2.2.5.0 for other product types.
