Do you want to work in a rapidly growing market for and with renewable energy? We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Sales Manager responsible for sales and development of their own customer portfolio. Our customers are typically large energy and industrial clients with a need for efficient, safe, and reliable power supply or transmission capacity. You will play a central role in helping our customers develop long-term plans and work closely with our technical experts.

The opportunity

The role covers the entire sales cycle for HVDC and FACTS/Power Quality services - from generating opportunities to identifying needs, presenting offers, negotiating, and closing deals. The team delivers service on Hitachi Energy's installed base of HVDC and FACTS installations and handles everything locally from sales, project management, and engineering, in close collaboration with our global service organization. The Service Sales Manager works both strategically and operationally, and collaborates with several functions for support and cooperation. HVDC and FACTS installations are complex and play a crucial role in our customers' operations.

Hoe you'll make an impact

  • Follow up on customers, offers, and contracts.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans for each customer.

  • Drive sales and be responsible for order intake and upselling.

  • Respond to inquiries and create offers (studies, projects, upgrades, spare parts).

  • Develop new forms of collaboration with customers and promote digital solutions.

  • Update information in the CRM system.

  • Collaborate with other functions and teams, both within and outside Norway, to support sales.

Your background

  • Higher education, preferably in electrical engineering, but education in marketing/sales or business can also be relevant.

  • Solid experience in sales with profit responsibility, preferably in technical sales to large professional players in industry and utilities.

  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken.
